Renaissance High School was established in September of 1971, and remains the only continuation high school in PVUSD. It has been designated by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction as one of the 20 Model Continuation High Schools in California.

Renaissance High School's campus is located in La Selva Beach, at 11 Spring Valley Rd. off of San Andres Rd. near the KOA camp ground, between Sunset and Manresa State Beaches.
